2013 Freshmeat Session
Rum City Derby Dolls will hold our first Freshmeat intake from Monday, 11th March.. The programme runs for 10 weeks and training is held for 6-8pm every Monday at Extreme Zone Skate Centre.

Introductory Session
Interested in training for Roller Derby?
Our Fresh Meat information session will give you the opportunity to meet the derby dolls and find out what the sport is all about. We want men, women, and juniors to join our league. We also need Referees and Non Skating Officials so if you love the sport but don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself you can still be involved.
Our next fresh meat intake will be held in 2013.

Fresh Meat Training Program
The Fresh Meat Program itself is a 12 week program andwill teach you all the basic skills and drills you need to know to play roller derby. We will go through rules, teach you the game structure, and prepare you to progress to the next level. For more information about the difference skills levels read the Fresh Meat Info Pack.
At the end of this program our Coach will assess you and let you know if you can advance to the next level. If you are not quite ready to advance, please don’t be deterred. We encourage you to practice as much as you can and try out again when the next Fresh Meat Program comes around.
When: Mondays 6-8pm. Commencing 11/03
Where: Extreme Zone Skate Centre, 45a Burrum Street, Bundaberg
What to Bring: Skates,Helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouthguard.
The rink has skates available to hire if you do not wish to purchase skates straight-up. We can also organise for the purchase of all your protective gear. We have a strict no saftey gear, no skating policy and if you do no have all of your skating gear, you will not be able to skate.
