About Us

Rum City Derby Dolls Inc. (RCDD) is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers – by the skater, for the skater. RCDD is dedicated to promoting the sport of women’s flat track roller derby and supports, encourages and develops skaters in their skating ability, whilst promoting the values of goodwill and good sportsmanship.The RCDD will provide a safe environment for people to skate and participate in the sport of women’s flat track roller derby. The RCDD has accepted the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s (WFTDA) rules and plays under these rules. The RCDD will encourage all members in their skating ability and will provide the opportunities for all members to realise their full potential.

General information
Training sessions for 2014 are as follows:

Sunday = 10am – 12pm – Senior Scrimmage
Sunday = 12pm to 2pm – Juniors
Tuesday = 4pm to 6pm – Juniors
Tuesday = 6pm to 8pm Senior Skating Skills & Fitness

Your annual RCDD membership fee includes: Skate Australia Membership & Insurance, League Membership, League Socks and rink fees for 2 sessions per week for the remainder of the year – this means you don’t have to scrounge for change every week as it’s ALL INCLUSIVE!! You can also have the option pay off your membership over 3 months from your sign-on date to make it just that little bit easier! If you have any questions, please get in touch with us.

We’re not just limited to skaters for our league… We also need volunteers and Officials (Skating or Non-Skating – quad skates or blades). Spread the word!!!
